The Securitatem Group is proud to support the Cornish Clifftop Challenge in aid of the Pilgrims Hospice in Kent and The National Firefighters Charity.
The 9 day challenge will be taken on by Mark and Lauren Williams, a dad and daughter team from Kent from Monday 6th to Wednesday 15th September 2021, in memory of their wonderful Dad and Grandad who fell sick and passed away in February 2019.
The challenge is targeted with raising £5000 for the selected charities. The funds will be split between the two causes: firstly, going to The Pilgrims Hospice in Kent, a charity within our own community. The charity provides vital services to the local community including care of those who are in the later stages of an incurable illness and support for their family and friends.
As a company build by former Police officers; with over 200 years of collective UK Law enforcement experience and career long involvement in the public services sector, a charity such at The National Firefighter Charity give us great pride to support. The charity works incredibly hard to support the health and wellbeing of fire service personnel, past, present, and future.
When possible, we not only support worthy causes financially but through the skills and resources accessible to the business. Our team will be providing Mark and Lauren with all the technical equipment they require, including a tracker so their location can be monitored throughout the challenge, you can check their tracker progress on the Facebook page. The challenge entails running 250KM of the South West Coastal Path between Perranporth and Mevagissey.
